In this book, the author shares with you her journey through the loss of a baby and her husband at a young age, to be where she is today: She is a woman who has stepped into her purpose with courage, strength, and an unwavering desire to use her experiences to inspire and help others find meaning and purpose in life.
The author has written the book with your participation in mind and provides exercises and affirmations to inspire you to reflect on yourself, your feelings, your life, and your desires. Space is provided for you to reflect on the content to best meet your goals and individual needs. It’s your story! The most important takeaway is that your past does not determine your future; you do.

About the Author

Nancy “Jay” is an educator, artist, and author who was born and raised in the Dominican Republic. She is a dedicated New York City public school teacher who earned a Big Apple Teacher’s Award Recognition. Nancy holds multiple advanced degrees in various specializations. Her goal is to continue to write, speak, and coach to uplift and bring joy to others, as well as to illustrate that we are all special and worthy of a happy, abundant, and fulfilled life.
